Atonement

The fluid interconnection of scenes were aided by the stunning sound editing. From the typre writer, to the stunning score, everything was aurally stimulating, making the movie going experience all the more memorable.

Hairspray

I just love how everything turned out aurally for Hairspray. Unlike in Sweeney Todd actors here can really sing and the editor did really gave emphasis to them. It was playful and fun.

Once
Niall Brady
What made the editing of Once all the more lovable was the fact that most of the performances (or all) were recorded live. It need not be as polished as Sweeney Todd or Hairspray, the fact that it was rawly captured and edited made it more beautiful.

No Country For Old Men

The sound editing of No Country For Old Men aided in building up the terror of the film. Yes there may be lotsa scenes that were eerily silent, but those silent moments building up to the talkies then to the gun shooting and what ever weapon that was made the movie as effective as it was.

There Will Be Blood

Like No Country, There Will be Blood's crisp sound editing made the scenes more powerful. This movie proved that you need not be loud to get the due you deserve. Not to mention the fact that the sound made the movie experience terrifying than any other horror films you'd see.
